I’m in one of those moods again, where I kind of drift off and think about an online slot that I would love to play. By the way, if any of these ideas ever get made into real slots, I certainly hope I’ll get a cut of the profits, or at the very least be recognized in some way. I don’t think it’s too much to ask.

Anyway, I’ve always thought that rap music and slot machines would be a perfect match. After all, Vegas slots, and Vegas in general for that matter, are the epitome of style over substance, eye-catching bling, over-the-top visuals, and a celebration of excess. The same goes for rap music videos (yes, people still make music videos – they’re on Youtube).

In the beginning, rap videos were made to show life in the inner city, which I was lead to believe included a lot of break dancing and choreographed dances and hand signals. More recently, though, the videos have basically become a short episode of Cribs or Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. The videos show the expensive cars, boats, mansions and other expenses that you can get if you only apply yourself and learn some good rhymes. For that reason, I would love to see an online slot with the theme of a clichéd (read: every) rap video.

The themes of online slots are often meant to portray a lifestyle you wish you had, so why not have one about rappers on a yacht speeding through the sea while being chased by a helicopter? And on board, they are chilling in their designer suits and drinking Cristal. For added fun, Lonely Island’s “I’m on a Boat” can be background music during this scene.

I can definitely picture an online slot with a theme of rappers relaxing in their solid gold hot tub with some random women and drinking Cristal. Or maybe riding in a limo with gold rims and grill, sitting in the back seat with random women and drinking Cristal.

All of those scenes can be shown in background photos, video cut-scenes, bonus games or whatever. Slot symbols can be of diamond earrings, diamond necklaces, diamond watches, diamond grills, gold earrings, gold necklaces, gold watches, gold grills, stacks of Benjamins, yachts, fancy limos and Hummers, a bottle of Cristal, strippers… The possibilities are endless!

Bonus games could be you trying to get as many women as possible into your limo/hot tub/yacht or throwing the most money around at the club. Whatever the case, this is a game I’d love to play. The great thing about it is that it appeals to everyone. If you hate those rap videos, you can see the online slot as mocking them, but if you love them you could see the slot as paying homage to them. Everybody wins.
