As the Reels Turn Slots at Sloto’ Cash Casino
Online slots come in a variety of themes, but most of them are geared toward male players, with themes like sports, comic heroes, action movies and more. That is why the As the Reels Turn series at Sloto’ Cash Casino is so interesting. It’s true that the online gambling demographic is predominantly male, but that means there are a lot of potential customers that they haven’t gotten through to yet. Designing games for women could help with that.
Now, I don’t know much about women. If I did, I probably would have figured out that something was wrong with my ex before she left me for the cabana boy at our resort. I do, however, know this: They like soap operas. Some won’t admit it, but if they find themselves home on a weekday afternoon with nothing to do, the TV is finding its way to a soap and somehow they will figure out what’s going on.
The As the Reels Turn slots are a series of slots with a soap opera theme. There are three of them so far, with them telling the stories in three parts. Honestly, I don’t know what the story is, but I can guess. There are various couples, with most of them in their thirties, but a few younger couples and a few older couples. There is also this slut who is trying to take a man away from his wife. No one likes her because of her personality. One of the younger couples is getting married soon, but both the bride and groom-to-be are secretly getting cold feet. One of the couples is having marital problems and could be headed for divorce. One of the characters recently died and no one knows how it happened. Yada yada. Am I close?
Anyway, the latest installment in the surely scintillating story is a 5-reel, 15-payline video slot. The online slot can be played in denominations ranging from $0.01 to $0.50. There are no wild symbols, scatter symbols, or free spins.
There are two features that I would consider bonuses, though. One is the Danny Costumes Bonus Round, where you have to dress up one of the characters. The bonus money you get depends on how good that outfit is that you chose. The other bonus is the story itself, which progresses while you play the game. Having an actual story to follow makes the game more interesting. In fact, you might even want to start with As the Reel Turns – Part 1 to make sure you don’t miss anything.
If you’re in the mood for some soap opera slot entertainment, pull up a chair, open a box of bonbons, and visit Sloto’ Cash Casino today.
Oceans 15 Promotion at Platinum Play Casino
Platinum Play Casino is currently running the exciting Oceans 15 promotion. I know what you’re thinking. Oceans 15? Haven’t we had enough Ocean’s movies? Sure, Ocean’s 11 was good, but all of the sequels are terrible. Don’t worry, though, because this promotion has nothing to do with that movie franchise. Also, last I heard, Steven Soderbergh said he wasn’t interested in making another Ocean’s movie.
No, this online casino promotion is much better than that. The name comes from the fact that the casino is giving away prizes that include free cruises. From now until June 15, Platinum Play Casino is holding a promotion where players have the ability to win exciting prizes. The grand prize for the top 15 players is a ticket (plus one guest ticket each) for an 8-day Mediterranean cruise onboard the luxurious Noordam, a cruise ship belonging to the Holland America fleet.
For players who don’t win the cruise grand prize, there are other prizes available as well. Platinum Play is also giving away 9.5 million loyalty points, 41,000 casino credits and for some players a Diamond Reward status for life. This is a huge promotion that encompasses many games over its 11-week run.
This tournament covers many different minor events, or mini-tournaments if you want to think of it that way. Players can enter as many of the events as they want. The more events you join, the better your odds of winning.
To find out more about the Oceans 15 promotion, visit Platinum Play Casino today and check the schedule for the events. Good luck, and if you win the cruise, be sure to take some pictures.
Online Slot Betting Systems
A lot of my gambling blog colleagues have covered the different betting systems out there and so far I have stayed out of it, but I decided I might as well post one all-encompassing blog explaining how betting systems affect your money in slots.
It’s really quite simple. You want to know what the betting systems do? They cost you money. There is dispute over whether they can work in any game, with many mathematicians that I know saying the answer is “no,” but one thing is certain: None of them work for slots.
The reason for that is slots are completely random, as controlled by the random number generator, and each spin is completely independent of the rest. In a card game like blackjack and poker, your odds can change as you get deeper into the deck based on which cards have been dealt and which have not. That is not the case for online slots, where no spin has any affect on any other spin. Your odds are exactly the same every time you press the spin button.
There is the Martingale system, where you start with a base bet and double it every time you lose. The thinking is that once you win again you will cover your losses. However, the most likely outcome is that you will enter a losing streak and then, by doubling your money, run out of funds before you win again.
There is the Paroli betting system, which is the opposite of the Martingale, where you start with a base wager and increase it every time you win. This system is contingent on the idea that you can find a “hot” machine and have a guaranteed winning streak, but since everything is random this system doesn’t work, either. There is also the D’Alembert system, where you increase your bet whenever you lose and decrease it whenever you win. Again, in the long run this system will simply eat its way through your bankroll faster.
The truth is that no betting system will work for slots because the outcome for slots can’t be predicted and each spin is independent of the last. Betting systems are contingent on the outcomes being related and your odds changing as you go along. They are made to take advantage of winning streaks and compensate for losing streaks, but because of the random nature of the game of slots, they are completely useless.
Roberta’s Castle Slot at Aladdin’s Gold Casino
It’s been a while since I’ve read any of those fairy tales about princesses needing to be rescued by princes or seen their Disney movie adaptations, but I’m pretty sure the Roberta’s Castle slot is based on the story of Rapunzel. The slot can be found at Aladdin’s Gold Casino and it is a fun take on the fairy tale.
As I remember it, the story of Rapunzel is about a poor princess being abused by her wicked stepmother because she was jealous that her magic mirror told her that Rapunzel was the fairest of them all. In retaliation, her stepmother made Rapunzel make clothes for seven dwarves and gave her a magic spinning wheel to use. She then pricked her finger on the wheel and fell into a coma that could only be broken by a kiss from a frog. A young prince, with whom Rapunzel had danced at a ball recently, grew worried when she had disappeared. He then found that the evil stepmother had hidden her in a tall tower. The prince then threw his magic beans into the ground and when it grew into a giant beanstalk, he climbed the castle wall, climbed in through the window, made a frog kiss her (which may be illegal), and she was awoken. There was then an epic battle between the prince and the stepmother, who transformed into a fire-breathing dragon, but the prince bested her with the help of magic from Rapunzel’s fairy godmother.
Anyway, the same story that I just relayed is excellently portrayed here in the Roberta’s Castle slot. The vibrant colors and clean animation bring to mind the Disney movie on which the game is based. The online slot features symbols of Roberta (who is a stand-in for Rapunzel in order to avoid copyright infringement), the prince, her brush, scissors, her cat and the standard playing card numbers and letters, which are written in calligraphy that brings to mind ancient texts of the fairy tales. I wonder why they didn’t include symbols of the dragon, the seven dwarves or any of that fun stuff…
Roberta’s Castle is a 5-reel, 20-payline online slot that can be denominations ranging from $0.01 to $5 per line. Aside from the normal jackpot of 15,000 coins, there is a random progressive jackpot of 40,000 coins. It is a fun game to play if you get into the spirit of children’s fairy tales. This game, of course, is not for children to play, because that would be illegal.
If you are of legal age to do so in your area, I suggest visiting Aladdin’s Gold Casino and playing the Roberta’s Castle online slot game.
Stash of the Titans at Roxy Palace
I’m one of the few people who isn’t excited about the new Clash of the Titans movie. Maybe it’s because I saw the original movie as a kid and was unimpressed. A movie about an epic battle between Greek gods should be interesting, but the movie didn’t really do anything for me, other than make me wonder why so many football players have copied Medusa’s hair style.
The remake, of course, has a much bigger budget and, like all blockbusters nowadays, is shot in 3-D. That means millions of people will flock to the movie to see pretty pictures jump out at them. Unfortunately, 3-D can’t effects can’t make a script better. Since it couldn’t make Avatar a decent movie, I doubt it will for Clash of the Titans, either.
But most people disagree with me. Most people loved James Cameron’s hokey movie about blue-skinned aliens with a script more concerned with propaganda than with telling a good story. I imagine those same people will enjoy watching people hack at weird creatures with swords in 3-D.
For those people, Roxy Palace Casino has a new slot game to entertain you while you wait for the release of the new movie. Stash of the Titians (get it?) is the new online slot and it plays off the theme of the movies. The slot has symbols of Medusa, a Cyclops, a Minotaur, a Griffin, a Hydra and more. The background of the slot seems to be a picture of Mount Olympus.
The Stash of the Titans game is a 5-reel, 20-payline online slot with well-drawn characters and cool animations such as Perseus flying on a Pegasus and the evil Medusa blowing a kiss. The video slot has a variety of multiplier bonuses and free spin bonuses.
In addition to offering this new fun game, Roxy Palace Casino is also rewarding you for playing it. From now until April 1, players will receive double loyalty points for playing Stash of the Titans. Therefore, if you want to try the new game, this is a great time to do so.

Area 21 Slot at Online Vegas
Okay, so everybody knows about Area 51. That is the secret military base in Nevada where they hold the flying saucer that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. What, you don’t seriously believe it was a weather balloon, do you? No one knows exactly what goes on in Area 51, but we’re pretty sure it involves testing recovered alien technology, perhaps the aliens themselves (if they’re alive) and testing technology we have developed as a result. Personally, I think Velcro was a result of those experiments.
Anyway, we all have our own ideas about Area 51, but Area 21, however, is a big mystery. In fact, until today I had never even heard of it. However, the folks at Online Vegas Casino are able to enlighten us. Their online slot titled Area 21 tells us everything we could need to know about the area. Apparently, it is a part of the country where aliens operate casinos. And by aliens, I don’t mean people from a foreign country; I mean people from a foreign planet.
The Area 21 slot features symbols of various alien beings who all seem friendly and eager to serve. They look kind of like the creatures in Close Encounters of the Third Kind except happier. And there are no mash potato sculptures in this game.
Area 21 is a 5-reel, 25-payline online slot that can be played in denominations ranging from $0.01 to $20 per line. The jackpot is 2,000 coins. There are a wide range of free spin bonuses and multiplier bonuses. If you get three or more scatter symbols, you are taken to a fun bonus game.
In that bonus game, you play alien blackjack. It may interest you to know that alien blackjack is exactly the same as blackjack here, except that the dealer is an alien. I guess that tells you how popular the game is. In the bonus game, you play blackjack against the dealer and you accrue bonuses by beating the dealer.
You might be thinking “How am I supposed to trust an alien dealer?” If so, you need to stop being so xenophobic. Aliens are people too. Well, not literally, but I think you can trust them as much as humans. I learned that from Mork & Mindy, ALF, Third Rock from the Sun, and V. Actually, forget that last example.
If you like playing online slots and blackjack and enjoy alien themes, this is a good game for you. The graphics and crisp and clear and the gameplay is out of this world (sorry, it had to be done).

Slot Request: Honoring America’s Workers
If you live in the United States, you probably know about the American Automobile Association, commonly known as AAA. Among other benefits, the main thing they are known for is their roadside assistance. Today I needed their help because my car was malfunctioning and I needed to be towed to a repair shop. So I called AAA. Simply put, they are awesome.
Why? Because once they eventually showed up (which, admittedly, took a while) the man who was supposed to charge me $5 per mile to drive me to the repair shop instead took a look at the problem, found a solution, and showed me how to fix it myself. AAA has saved me God knows how much money, and in the process lost some money that they would have made off of me. They did so because the customer is more important.
So what does that have to do with a slot request? Well, slots come in a variety of themes. They are based on superheroes, vacation getaways, sports, different cultures and more. This recent experience got me to thinking that, for whatever reason, in recent years many members of our society have started to act like corporations are the bad guys, that capitalism is just about greed, and that the companies don’t care about the public. My experience with AAA, however, time and again shows me otherwise. They are, of course, only one of many fine examples of corporations doing the right thing.
Again, what does this have to do with a slot request? Well, why can’t we honor corporate America? Why can’t we honor the hard-working and honest employees? I would like a series of slots that honor the good side of the working man and of American companies. Sure, an auto club like AAA would make a good theme – with symbols of a tow truck, mechanic, call center dispatcher and more – but it can go beyond that. How about another slot that honors the hard-working small business owner? How about one about the fine men and women who act as public servants to make the world safer for the rest of us, like the firefighters, police and paramedics? While we’re on the subject, I can’t think of one patriotic online slot that honors the military. Why not? I can think of great themes for that.
What it all comes down to is that we love to think about the make-believe heroes that you find in comic books, but there are real people out there who deserve our honor and respect. Why not honor them with an online slot theme? I would play it. Would you?
Haunted Opera Slot at Rushmore Casino
The Phantom of the Opera is a pretty popular story. It started out as a Gaston Leroux novel and was adapted into many different radio shows, TV shows, movies, musicals, comics, and concept albums. It is also the basis for an online slot, though not officially, so the developer wouldn’t have to pay royalties.
Haunted Opera is an online slot available at Rushmore Casino. This slot game embraces the Phantom story and ambiance. The background is that of a theater, with plush curtains, a chandelier and stage. While playing the slot it is as if you’re in the audience at the opera and watching it all unfold in front of you.
To be honest, I haven’t read the book, seen any of the movies, seen the musicals, read the comics or seen the TV shows. I have seen performances of a couple of the songs different places, though, so I feel I’m enough of an expert to comment on this game. The Haunted Opera slot has symbols of a beautiful woman who is supposed to be Christine from the story in addition to the Phantom’s mask, a rose, a mysterious letter, a mirror and more. For added fun, you can blast Andrew Lloy’d Webber’s musical soundtrack while you play the game.
The Haunted Opera game is a 5-reel, 20-payline online slot that can be played in denominations ranging from $0.01 to $5. The game has a random progressive jackpot in addition to its standard jackpot. It has a variety of multiplier bonuses and free spin bonuses. The game also has autoplay and turbo play features.
If you’re a fan of the Phantom of the Opera story in any of its incarnations, this game should be a particular treat. If not, it should still be fun. To play the Haunted Opera online slot, visit Rushmore Casino today.
Red Sands Slot at Cherry Red Casino
Here is what your average non-Australian knows about Australia: They talk funny (kind of a combination of British and southern), they enjoy shrimp on the barbie, they have really big knives (thanks to Crocodile Dundee), they enjoy picking up snakes, wrestling crocs and running around the Outback in khaki shorts (thanks to the Crocodile Hunter); they enjoy bloomin’ onion, they throw boomerangs, and they were founded as an English penal colony.
That’s about it. A couple of the above things are even true. For those who are not aware of the real life down under, there is an online slot at Cherry Red Casino that can help you either learn about their culture of embrace their stereotypes, whichever is more fun for you.
The game is the Red Sands slot and it is set in the Australian outback. Unlike visiting the country, by playing the game you have no risk of death from sunstroke, dehydration, sharks, crocodiles, or poisonous snakes, spiders, frogs, octopi, or basically any other animal.
Red Sands is a 5-reel, 20-payline online slot. It features symbols of koalas, kangaroos, and other Australian wild animals. The background of the slot features beautiful Australian scenery of red desert sand, hills and of course kangaroos. Your balance, bet and money won are shown on scoreboards in the shape of boomerangs. There are a number of free spin bonuses and multiplier bonuses to reward you for playing. In addition, there is a bonus game where if you get at least 2 moonscape symbols, those 2 symbols freeze and the other symbols spin again up to 10 times. The goal is to get as many moonscapes as possible, though even if you don’t get anymore, having 2 is a winning combination.
It was fun playing the Red Sands slot, though I have to admit that even though I played it in the morning, it had me craving a nice New York strip steak with shrimp skewers on the side. I’m not really sure if New York strip is common food in Australia, but I know it’s my favorite thing to order at Outback Steakhouse.
Anyway, if you’re in the mood for an online slot that is based on the land down under, you should visit Cherry Red Casino and play the Red Sands slot today.
Paris Beauty Slot at Rushmore Casino
As soon as I heard that Rushmore Casino has an online slot called Paris Beauty, I almost vomited a little bit in my throat. That’s because I was under the mistaken impression that the game is themed after Paris Hilton, the woman who is famous mostly for being famous. Luckily, it has nothing to do with her, but you can’t blame me for thinking so. I’m surprised she doesn’t have an online slot, considering that she has a book, an album, a perfume line, a clothing line, a dance club, a modeling career, and an acting career, despite having no talent for any of the above!
It turns out that Paris Beauty has nothing to do with Ms. Hilton. Instead, its theme is what is supposedly the most romantic location in the world, aside from my bedroom, of course. By that, I mean the city of Paris, France. This is a travel-themed game and it highlights architecture and scenery that you would expect to find in the city.
The Paris Beauty online slot features symbols of a Parisian man, a Parisian woman, the Eiffel tower, a painter’s palette and more. Luckily though the man and woman are attractive enough, there is no audio with them, meaning you don’t hear them speak. That’s good, because nothing ruins the attractiveness of a French woman quite like a French accent. Even Sophie Marceau loses some of her beauty when she opens her mouth. Hey, I have nothing against French people; it’s just that you have a disgusting language. It’s not your fault you sound that way.
Paris Beauty is a 5-reel, 20-payline online slot that can be played in denominations ranging from $0.01 to $5 per line. The jackpot for the game is 4,500 coins. It has a variety of multiplier bonuses and free spin bonuses. One bonus in particular that you should hope for happens if you get three or more Eiffel towers on any of the reels. If that happens, you get 12 free spins and a 2x multiplier on those spins, meaning that you have a chance to win some good money on the house’s dime.
If you want to play a good French-themed game without having to deal with real-life French people, this game is a good way to do it. To play the Paris Beauty game, visit Rushmore Casino today.
