Online Slots and Pachinko

Many people are not really sure what the game of pachinko is, never mind online pachinko. They see it, but very few take a chance on actually playing it as it seems like it must be hard to understand – simply because of the name.

Pachinko is simply the combination of pinball and slots – but comes from the Japanese word pachi-pachi, which basically means clicking of small objects. The game looks like a pinball machine as it has little metal balls in it, and that is where it started. It then evolved into the computerized version that we know it as today. It used to be played in Pachinko parlors, but has grown in popularity throughout Asia.

There used to be actual balls that people could exchange for money, but concerned that people would bring in their own balls, they made them into “virtual” balls instead. Players use these “balls” to shoot into the machine and then they get paid for the various results that they get.

Online pachinko was the next to come, simply taking over a similar guise as online slots. As in online slots you put your money in and play to see if you have won. Online pachinko, you purchase the balls and use them to play the machine. Now that it has seemingly taken over the web world, online pachinko is gaining the popularity once reserved solely for online slots.
