Gambling To Death

For all of you out there that said that online slots and gambling was hazardous to your health – you didn’t realize how true that was. It seems that a man has literally gambled himself to death while playing the online slots in a cyber café.

In the city of Guangzhou, a Chinese man literally gambled on the online slots and his life. He seemingly fainted while playing the online slots at a cyber café in the town, and could not be reawakened. Paramedics were called, but were unable to save him.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene and paramedics listed cause of death as exhaustion. The man allegedly played for three days with no sustenance and finally dropped from it. This is the first known death from online slots and online gambling that has ever been recorded.

The other patrons left as well as they were afraid of suffering the same fate, but I can’t help but wonder why no one who worked there didn’t think to have the man take a break? Who is responsible for this man’s death? Is it him for obviously having an online slots addiction? Or is it the café owner’s for not making him leave?

Experts say that gambling for long periods of time will harm you, as can be seen in the case of this poor man. They say that you should not gamble more than an hour at a time, and that if you choose to gamble more than that you should at least stop for breaks.
