Online Slots are Everywhere

Gambling started in China, but has continued to grow globally ever since. Almost every country in the world has some sort of gambling that they offer, but for the United States, slot machines are the biggest draw for the majority of people. With the advent of the internet, all that happened was that online slots were now available to a larger population, which made them the most popular game around.

Slots got their start in 1887, when Charles Fey created the “bell” slot machine in California. As the three wheels that were in the slots game had bells on them, this is where it got it’s name. However, in 1910, fruit was added to the slots, and is still used today. In fact, in the UK they call them fruit machines instead of slots.

From there gambling increased, and when the internet was discovered online slots became the bane of some people’s existence and the God send of others. Those that enjoyed gambling could now play the online slots from their living rooms, while those that saw only evil in them had a new cause to fight.

Online slots operate the same as land based ones, they are run with an RNG, or Random Number Generator, and payouts will be posted on the casino’s web site. Do your research before you hand over your money via the internet, but for the most part, online slots are just as safe and random as the regular ones are. Some people are hesitant to use them as they think it will be difficult – nothing could be further from the truth.
