Farewell Grand Prive
Well it’s official. Kentucky’s latest anti-online casino escapades have resulted in a massive US evacuation of all Microgaming groups. Even though it’s not mandatory to exit the US market entirely, and it would be enough to just pull out of the list of states in which online slots casino gambling is explicitly against the law, the latest news is that Grand Prive has decided to officially get out of dodge across the board.
The online casino marketing supplier has just made the announcement about the split, saying that their very last day in the US will be on December 1st of this year. In order to make up for the new hole in the market, Villa Fortuna Casino has been mentioned as a new replacement, however, they have openly refused to break the rules and keep entertaining US based customers. The company has already had some widespread success in Europe, where they have successfully established online slots casinos in English, Italian, French and German.
Microgaming it seems, is covering all bases in order to ensure the security and longevity of their brand and platform, and will not be messing with such an unpredictable and volatile situation here in the states when it comes to the online slots market.
Hopefully the new President Elect will be able to make some favorable changes to this whole mess in a couple weeks, so that Americans can truly be free to entertain themselves online however they want, just like the rest of the forward thinking world.
