Spitzer Gets His

Eliot Spitzer has taken the spotlight off of online slots and has put it back onto illegal prostitution in the state of New York. The former mayor was once one of the major opponents to online slots and casinos, having been one of the most conservative members of government and repeatedly went after paypal and others for failing to honor the new UIGEA, of which he was one of the major supporters.

It is too ironic that he should be caught with his pants down around his ankles in such a delightful turn of events. He has officially confessed that he has taken part in paid activities with an escort service, and also had had women travel from state to state to perform sexual acts in exchange for money.

wever, he is apparently off the hook and will not be facing any charges, which is great, but needless to say, his illustrious career in government is pretty much over.

uckily the former mayor had the foresight to avoid using public funds to pay for his bedroom fun, and therefore was able to come out of all of this relatively clean and free. Well, almost. It is needless to say that his homelife suffered quite a bit, although his has been surprisingly cooperative and forthcoming with information for the duration of the investigation one or something along those lines.
