Like Your Slots Haunted?

Most people play the slots because there is a certain amount of danger and excitement from playing. However, some don’t know how downright spooky and exciting slots can be. Some look for a little extra excitement with their slots by playing at haunted casinos – yes, haunted. There are many casinos out there with back stories that would curl your hair, and here is just a couple that you can really seek your inner ghost hunter into.

The Flamingo Hilton Hotel and Casino is one of the most famous haunted casinos around. Many know it as the “mobster” casino as it was originally opened by Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegal, the famous mob man who was shot just a year after its opening. However, many swear that they have seen or heard him as he has supposedly returned to his casino to live out his days in eternity – wandering the halls and hanging out by the pool.

Bally’s Hotel and Casino is probably the most famous, period, but not many people know that it is just as haunted as it is famous. In 1980 a fire broke out in what was previously the MGM Hotel and Casino killing 84 people. Some burned to death while others jumped to theirs in an effort to save their lives. After Bally bought the property, as MGM moved to another location, guests and employees alike reported seeing ghosts hanging out in the upper floors and areas where they would most likely have perished.

Others say that there are specific rooms that are haunted in slots casinos up and down the strip. Where gamblers ended their lives, or their savings only to come back and haunt the casino after their deaths. Some say that it is all just a publicity ploy for the casinos to try and bring in more business. No matter what you believe, if you are into that sort of thing, there are plenty of locations for you to go ghost hunting in between playing their slots.
