A NonPartisan Issue
The US government is absolutely divided over whether or not to legalize, regulate and tax online slots casino gambling. While some say that party lines are clear on this issue, it is becoming more and more obvious that things are never black and white. Not only is Alfonse D’Amato the leader of the Poker Players Alliance a former Republican Senator, but Democrat Nancy Pelosi, the House Speaker, is completely against gambling. Just in that observation, the notion that online slots is a party issue has been completely dissolved.
Each side is always so quick to vilify the other, Republicans calling Democrats rabid crazy irrantional liberals, and Democrats retorting that Republicans are ignorant backwards religious intolerant fanatics. With this kind of attitude and lack of understanding and compassion, it is clear why nothing really gets done in the walls of Washington DC.
The fact is that individuals must be educated with the world’s current events, and how today’s issues are being handled all over the world. Individuals in this country have excellent opportunities afforded to very few people in the world, and that includes the priviledge to vote on important issues that affect our every day lives.
The issue of how to handle online slots casino gambling is clearly very charged, and must be addressed by the general public. Some are morally opposed to the idea, others say they have a right as responsible independent citizens to choose to partake in their favorite activity. It would be essential for all to pay attention to how the issue is being handled in several countries across the world, and wether those ways are effective or not.
And then the best thing to do would be to put it to a vote, where people can truly speak their minds, without having to choose which side of the red tape to stand on.
