Responsible Gaming Day II
Responsible Gaming Day is here to stay, now that the world is concerned about the effects of online slots and gambling. With the whole world up in arms over the issue, and everybody trying to figure out what the best plan of attack would be, many people are on the fence as far as the best way to handle it all. Some think that it should be legalized and regulated and taxed, while others still maintain, despite the countless studies that support otherwise, that online slots casinos should be outlawed and absolutely monitored so that it doesn’t interfere with a highly conservative 1950s ideal that is unattainable and unrealistic in today’s world.
Universities and research companies are now doing several studies regarding the pros and cons of online casino gaming and the various ways that countries have decided to handle it. Time and time again, the results have pointed that responsible gaming is the best way to go.
For this reason exactly, the European Gaming and Betting Association has started an annual event that brings together people from all facets of the industry to try to talk about and figure out and debate the best ways to handle online slots casinos responsibly.
While it is probably true that most people have other’s best interests in mind, or the greater good, the trouble comes when they try to nail down specifics about the details of how to regulate and what the exact rules should be.
Since last year’s event was such a hit and got such great feedback, the organization has decided to bring it back for a second round, and much to everybody’s excitement, not only is there more to talk about this year, but there is also a higher possibility that the US might soon be joining the ranks of modern countries that realize the Prohibition does not work.
