GetMinted Gets Ads

There is a rumor floating around that the online slots and gambling site GetMinted.com is planning on starting a whole new marketing and advertising campaign – to the tune of $2 million dollars. Whether the amount being spent is true or not, the places that they are planning on starting to advertise could easily cost them that.

The online slots and gambling company is planning a full scale advertising campaign that would have them promoting their online slots, bingo and poker products offline. They are looking to get posters into rail stations and phone booths, and placed outside the bingo halls of their big competitors like Mecca and Gala.

They are also planning a huge campaign in rail stations around London. They will be heavily promoting the Monopoly Reel Estate online slots game from April 25th to May 8th, and they know that rail stations are prime locations. With more than 454,000 people coming in every day through the rails, the price to put their ads there is well worth it.

It seems that 72% of all of the people that travel into Central London use the rails as their “main mode of transport.” They say that by placing the posters there, the commuters will see them roughly ten times within the two week promotion. Plus since rails are featured on the game, it seemed a nice tie in for the company.
