Betsson Enters Peru

The Swedish company Betsson has entered the online slots and gambling world of Peru with a little help from Net Entertainment. Net Entertainment is an online gambling software developer, and they have used their connections to get into the more liberalized Peruvian online gambling market.

The company already has close to a million clients, and believes that they can offer Peruvians access to some of the most incredible online slots and gambling games available. According to Living in Peru, this step of moving into the market was not taken lightly, but it is a good first step.

They will be offering online slots, poker, casino games, scratch cards and sports betting – which makes it the first of its kind in Peru. As gambling sales are currently at $15 billion annually, it is no wonder that Peru’s market would not stay untapped for long.

They say that they looked at the various markets out there today, and weighed the pros and cons of each one. However, upon investigation of Peru, they found that the number of homes that already have internet access in the country was amazing. They say that they have a desire for online slots and gambling, so it was up to Betsson to bring it to them.

They say that the country’s “economic and infrastructural growth” over the past couple of years was also a deciding factor for their foray into online slots and gambling. The country is looking to regulate the online slots and gambling business as they know that it is the future and there is no point in trying to ban it.
