Denver Convention
‘Tis the season for online casino industry conventions all over the world, from the UK, to Hungary, to here in our very own back yard. This year’s Affiliate Convention will be taking place in Denver, Colorado over the week of the 15th. The convention is geared toward all other aspects of the online casino industry without which the whole operation would fall apart. This includes payment processing companies, IT specialists, and other executives that make the world of online slots not only a possibility but a huge success.
What is interesting is that the affiliates have chosen to meet in the United States, which currently is not too keen on having online slots casinos legalized in the country. Still, it must be a demonstration that the industry is in fact very valid and sound, and it has several components that work together as checks and balances toward a common goal.
That goal, of course, is the entertainment and safety of all involved, from online slots casino gamblers to the companies themselves, to the financial institutions that they use to process the payments and cash prizes.
Another great thing about the convention this year is that it is free for all working affiliates. That means that even though there is a recession and everybody in every industry is feeling the pinch, the online casino industry recognizes the importance of maintaining high standards, and working together with a common purpose, as opposed to cutting costs and benefitting only in the short term.
