Police Take Out Online Slots Sites

North Carolina saw the raid of three online slots businesses last week, much to the surprise of many. Police had been investigating the online gambling businesses, and had been going in undercover to build a case against them. It seems they have succeeded.

The undercover officers infiltrated the illegal online slots business and during the course of the investigation they were paid out cash prizes as high as $3,000. The sting was part of a joint investigation between local and state law enforcement officials.

They went in and found people playing online slots and gambling right in front of their computer terminals, and as they won they would be paid out. The police said that there was very little being done to “conceal” what was going on there, and police had little problems getting information.

Police seized the computer terminals, cash and tickets that were being used, and said that they would be making arrests in the case. As their patrons left, the police interviewed them and checked their ID’s before they could go.

The police said that you could literally drive by and see people playing the illegal online slots, and that they weren’t trying to hide it. They said that you can be charged just for playing the games, but some seemed not to be aware of this at all.
