Why is Online Gambling Immoral if Soldiers Can Do It?

Many are asking the same question these days – why is online gambling illegal and immoral in the United States, but our service personnel can play the slots overseas? The US government has taken a very strong stance on online slots and gambling, and says that it is immoral, and therefore illegal to participate in. If this is the case, then why do they promote it overseas?

The slots industry and our government have been having a field day with our service personnel, allowing them to play the slots on military bases around the world. In fact, with the number of slots, approximately 8,000, it makes the US government a very large supplier of slots services.

The military freely admits that the slots revenue that they get is more than $100 million a year, and that the slots money they get goes toward additional recreational programs for our service personnel. The slots enable them to put in swimming pools, movie theatres, and concerts for those stationed overseas. Even though they are getting a budget of $500 billion, they still find it appropriate to offer slots to our armed forces to fund their own recreation.

The Army and Marines have 3,000 slots just to themselves, and it brings them in $130 million. This is money that is being taken from our soldiers, and it is creating a new breed of slots addicts. These men and women spend their down time trying to escape the realities of where they are and they are doing it in front of the slots, thereby turning themselves into slots addicts.
