New Slots Enhancements

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming is adding new enhancements to their slots games that are going to make playing the games much more enjoyable. Kelly McDougald, CEO of the OLG said that they are going to make the games easier to use and more enjoyable, so that they are making their clients happier.

Some of the new enhancements include easier to read online tickets, lower terminal freeze threshold, and signature boxes on the front of Instant tickets. They think that these things will make it easier for both their customers and for the retailers to see when someone has won.

The first thing they felt was important to handle was the changing of the threshold on the slots for wins. The machines will now “freeze” when a customer wins $5,000. Before it was $10,000 or more, and they think that the amount was too high.

They are also going to change the look of the tickets so that there is less confusion for people who are playing the games and redeeming their tickets. Adding the logo of the game they are playing alone will add to the ease for players will be able to see which game each ticket is for.

They are going to add a customer signature box on the front of their Instant Crossword game, and then add it to others as well. Plus, there will be a report listing all of the prizes that can be won so that customers can see what they are playing for.
